He has worked on contactless payments including establishment of a 3-bank/3-mobile operator venture in The Netherlands from 2009 to 2011 and served for three years on the Board of Directors of mBank Philippines, a mobile-only, nation-wide commercial bank.

As an Operations Executive with 28 years of experience in senior executive positions including President, COO, EVP and Senior VP in the financial services industry. Currently, Lonnie holds the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Southwest Capital Bank, responsible for all day to day operations of the $350 million dollar commercial bank. Lonnie’s proven ability to manage over 1,200 employees, lead a diverse team of leaders at all levels of an organization, oversee multiple remote facilities and teams, administer budgets in excess of $100M, and spearhead process and continuous improvement projects yielding cost savings of over $7M. Skilled in maintaining full P&L responsibility, overseeing lean and six sigma projects, establishing total quality management systems, conducting meeting cost and schedule goals for projects as large as $23M. Joel has his Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of South Florida and his Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. Mr. Carriles has led a renewed mobile strategy for the bank, which included the release of native mobile banking applications for the Android, Blackberry, iPhone, iPad, Windows Mobile and Kindle Fire platforms to complement the bank’s existing SMS Banking solution; redesigning the app fulfillment process, and a new marketing approach. As a result, the number of mobile app users increased over 10-fold in the last 3 years.
By focusing on the Customer Experience, Mr. Carriles has been able to lead projects that have influenced the industry, such as the Stand Alone Enrollment for Mobile Banking, effectively making Mobile a unique and independent channel from the traditional Online Banking, while at the same time dramatically improving the customer satisfaction among the bank’s mobile users.

Mr. Berglund oversees the development of the Artificial Intelligence and Machine learning practice within the U.S. Bank innovation group including oversight of strategic product development, product innovation, risk mitigation, strategy and transformation efforts.
Prior to joining U.S. Bank, Berglund spent more than seven years at Optum (a division of United Health Group, UHG). Most recently, he led AI within Optum's Advanced Technology Center, which included developing the enterprise AI strategy, building the R&D team’s emerging technology platform, and establishing a strategy for the company's innovation Intellectual Property. David held multiple prior roles at UHG including Entrepreneur in Residence, Managing Director of Portfolio Management, and Digital Product Developer. Prior to Union, Rountree worked at Wells Fargo as Vice President of Credit Card Emerging Payments. She began her career at Capital One working in email marketing and communications in Richmond, VA and with auto finance in San Diego, CA. Jon is the Senior Vice President, Head of Payments Strategy at TD Bank, America's Most Convenient Bank. Jon came to TD Bank from Citibank where he launched CitiPay, the first proprietary bank digital wallet in the US. Prior to Citibank, Jon was the Head of Competitive Intelligence, Consumer Products at Bank of America. He focused on branch comparison studies and ongoing competitor benchmarking. Prior to that Jon worked in R&D developing the first customer-facing instant issuance kiosk for customers to print out payment cards and also developing health care payment systems. One of his products won Payment Product of the year in 2007 at the Payments Symposium in Las Vegas. Jon held leadership positions in Credit, Portfolio Quality, Marketing and Research. Jon got his start at MBNA as a CSR and believes speaking to 200 customers everyday was the most influential learning experience of his career.

Pablo Cohan is a senior vice president on the U.S. Digital Payments and Labs team at Mastercard. In this role, he oversees product development and the go-to-market strategy for the Mastercard Digital Enablement Service (MDES) and Masterpass. Mr. Cohan has held this role since 2015. Previously, he oversaw media measurement for Mastercard Advisors.
Before joining MasterCard in 2013, Mr. Cohan held various positions at The New York Observer, Adobe, MediaMind, and AT&T AdWorks.

Michele Fernandez-Daniel is a banking professional with over 15 years of banking experience in regulatory compliance (consumer compliance, AML/BSA, CTF and OFAC). She has held several leadership positions in various international banks. She currently serves as Head of Compliance for Banco de Credito e Inversiones (Bci) Miami Branch, responsible for the development, implementation and monitoring of the AML/CTF/OFAC and consumer compliance programs for the branch and Regional Compliance Officer overseeing the BSA/AML programs for Bci’s US operations. Prior to joining Bci, she served as the Chief Compliance Officer responsible for developing and overseeing the corporate compliance policy and compliance risk management program for a Panamanian Bank with a US presence.
Ms. Fernandez-Daniel holds a Master’s Degree in International Business Administration from Nova University and an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Florida International University. She is a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM), and an Anti-Money Laundering Certified Associate (AMLCA).

Todd Keith is an innovative leader, strategist and author who guides the Regions UX Design & Innovation team to create useable and delightful digital experiences, balancing storytelling with user experience and audience needs with business goals. Elizabeth Kelly serves as Senior Vice President of Operations for United Income, which uses technology to provide holistic financial planning and money management services for people nearing or entering retirement.
Prior to joining United Income, Elizabeth served as Special Assistant to the President at the White House National Economic Council. In that capacity, she led White House engagement with federal agencies and external partners to develop and execute the President’s retirement security, financial inclusion, unemployment insurance, and sustainable capitalism agendas. She also helped launch myRA (a no-fee starter savings product from the Treasury Department) and coordinated the development, rollout, and defense of major rules and guidance, including the fiduciary (“conflict of interest”) rule, Military Lending Act rules closing prior loopholes to cap loans to service members at 36% APR, and rules enabling states to create their own retirement savings plans. For her work, Elizabeth was chosen as one of Forbes 30 Under 30 in Law & Policy.
Earlier in her career, Elizabeth worked at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and as a law clerk to Judge Stephen A. Higginson on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.

Joe Whitchurch is currently the Head of CreditWise® - Capital One's fast-growing app that helps users understand, improve and protect their credit and personal information. In this role, Joe leads a team creating a best-in-class technology product that helps everyone take control of their personal information. Joe has held a variety of customer and innovation roles in his 13 years at Capital One, from product and technology developments which have received multiple industry awards and patents, to designing the conversion experience for tens of millions of customers, to developing and launching the company’s first home-grown Big Data product.
Additionally, Joe has always had a passion for helping entrepreneurs, serving as a mentor with the Harvard iLabs program and advising several start-ups, most recently a data security and authentication firm acquired by Salesforce.com. Scott Jones is responsible for developing, communicating and executing PNC’s strategy around Real Time Payments (RTP®), the first new U.S. payments system in 40 years.
Before joining PNC, Jones worked for another major bank where he was responsible for faster payment systems including RTP and the Zelle Network®, a secure, bank-owned digital payments network. He has also worked with the payments line of business to identify and mitigate risks.
Jones has held a number of operating executive roles including General Manager and Director of Operations for Supply Dynamics, a leader in supply chain visibility applications where he led product development teams for global Fortune 1000 clients in the aerospace, power generation, and heavy equipment industries.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in operations management and entrepreneurship from the University of Cincinnati, and a master’s degree in business administration from Xavier University, Cincinnati. He is a certified Project Management Professional.

Purvi Shah is Vice President, Customer 360 within the Enterprise Digital and Analytics group at American Express. She is responsible for creating a global, enterprise-wide view of all of American Express’ customers – both individuals and business so that we may provide them with the best customer experience every day.
Purvi joined American Express in 2010 and has had multiple Product Ownership roles across Technologies, Merchant and Small Business teams where she demonstrates a focus on efficient project execution, manages costs while mitigating risk, and helps the team deliver an exceptional customer experience. She has a penchant for identifying customer needs and developing a cohesive strategy to meet them, which has resulted in her earning a U.S. Patent for her work.
Prior to American Express, Purvi was a Manager within the Technology practice at Deloitte Consulting. She led the implementation of numerous large-scale custom applications for various clients. In addition to project management and client service activities, she was instrumental in leading and contributing to a number of key strategic business development activities at Deloitte.

Jon Sandruck is a Design Director for USAA, where he leads the design team for Auto Ownership. He leads his team to create experiences that are usable, desirable, and feasible; using human-centered design and design thinking, and usability research. He's applied these methods to attract users, increase efficiency, and improve user satisfaction; providing incremental value of billions of dollars.
He is also the President of the Dallas/Fort Worth chapter of AIGA, the professional association for design.

Bruce Lowthers serves as chief operating officer of the Integrated Financial Solutions (IFS) organization. In this role, Lowthers is responsible for developing and delivering FIS’ banking, wealth, payments and treasury offerings for financial institutions, retail, government and corporate clients in North America.
Previously, Lowthers served FIS in a number of executive positions, including head of the company’s Payments business, head of Product Sales and Global Sales Operations and general manager of the Global Payments Software business. Prior to joining FIS, Lowthers held the position of senior vice president of Community Markets for eFunds, where he was responsible for the P&L for all payment and risk products for that market. Jonathan serves as the CTO for SMARTASSISTANT, which offers the first SaaS platform to build and deploy AI sales assistants that are being used by over 15 million people every year.

During his more than 15 years of experience, Zeev has held leadership positions, delivering information technology solutions within enterprise IT departments and in companies that provide consulting services– most recently at the leading credit card company Isracard and Hilan Tech. He also served as a senior consultant in the Israel Defense Force, dealing with advanced computing systems.

Doug is our senior vice president for sales, marketing, and business development. Prior to joining D3 Banking, Parr was chief revenue officer of Prairie Cloudware, where he managed a wide range of departments including sales, corporate development, and marketing. Parr also served as senior vice president at Entersekt and was senior vice president and general manager for the Americas Payments Division of S1 Corporation, where he doubled revenue in three years. Additionally, Parr spent 18 years with ACI Worldwide in a variety of senior and management positions, serving customer communities both domestically and in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Doug is a thought leader in our industry and contributes to numerous publications as a source expert and guest contributor.

Tony got his start as an Apple Computer Systems Engineer and for the past 17 years he has founded and grown two successful technology companies in Fintech and the SaaS software space including vLoan.com and Bridgeline Digital. He has an excellent track record in building technology businesses and is dedicated to pushing the boundaries with innovative tech companies that disrupt traditional business models. Tony leads revenue and growth for PromonTech which is transforming the digital mortgage experience.

Seth Goldberg is the Regional Director at Backbase. He has been in the digital and software space for more than 17 years and spent the majority of his career consulting fortune 500 companies in the areas of digital, social, media and advertising. His entrepreneurial spirit and tireless dedication have made him a trusted advisor in the fintech space. As Regional Director, Seth is focused on helping financial institutions with their digital transformations. He enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and 3 kids and is a die-hard Chicago sports fan.
